Having a kong-an interview is an integral part of Zen meditation practice. It is a one-on-one interview with a Zen Master or Ji Do Poep Sa Nim, teachers who have been approved by the Kwan Um School of Zen to give such interviews. For newcomers to the interview form, please make sure to ask the head dharma teacher to teach you the proper form and etiquette prior to going for interview.
